What is Health Coaching at Future?

Health Coaches are behavior change experts who work with specialists (like RDs, MDs) to build you a unique, data-informed plan across fitness, nutrition, and sleep to help you build lasting habits and reach your goals.

More than a trainer: a behavior change expert

Most people already know what they should do. The hard part is actually doing it consistently, over time, through the weeks when motivation fades and life gets in the way. That's exactly where a Health Coach comes in.

Future Health Coaches are trained in behavior change. They understand how habits form, why they break, and how to help you build routines that stick. They'll work with you to identify what's getting in the way of your goals, coordinate with a Registered Dietician, Personal Trainer, and other experts to finalize your data-informed care plan, and keep you accountable without judgment. The result isn't just a better plan: it's a different relationship with your own health.

A whole-health approach

Unlike a personal trainer focused solely on workouts, a Future Health Coach works across all the pillars that drive long-term health: fitness, nutrition, and sleep. These aren't separate conversations; they're connected. How you sleep affects how you train. How you eat affects how you recover. Your coach sees the full picture and helps you optimize across all of it.

That means your coach is creating personalized plans for how you move, eat, and rest, reviewing your meal logs and sleep data, and adjusting your plan with expert input as your results and habits evolve.

What your Health Coach does

Creates your personalized plan. Before anything else, your coach builds a detailed understanding of your health history, lifestyle, and goals through your Health Profile and Kickoff Call. From there, they create customized Protocols for fitness, nutrition, and sleep that are specific to you.

Stays actively engaged. Health Coaching isn't a plan you get once and figure out on your own. Your coach reviews your meal logs, tracks your sleep data, and monitors your workouts, then uses all of that to coach you forward with regular check-ins and video calls.

Brings in the data. From your DEXA scan to your bloodwork results and personal history, your coach incorporates real health data into your plan. This is coaching informed by science, not guesswork.

Evolves with you. As you make progress, your coach updates your protocols and adjusts the approach with input from experts. The goal is long-term behavior change, not a short-term fix.

Frequently asked questions

How is a Health Coach different from a personal trainer?

A personal trainer focuses on exercise programming. A Future Health Coach works across fitness, nutrition, and sleep, and is specifically trained in behavior change, which means they're equipped to help you understand and shift the habits that determine your long-term results.

Is Health Coaching the same as therapy or medical care?

No. Health Coaches are not licensed medical providers or therapists. They work within a wellness and behavior change framework and will consult with qualified members of our clinical team when a question falls outside their scope.

What tiers are available?

Future Health Coaching is available in two tiers, Core ($129/month) and Premium ($399/month), each offering different levels of communication, video calls, and included services like DEXA scans and bloodwork.
